Jude Law is publicly apologizing to his fiancee for having an affair wih their children's nanny. Law made a statement to the British Press Association on Monday and said:

"Following the reports in today's papers, I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I've hurt Sienna and the people most close to us"

Jude Law's fiancee is 23 year old actress Sienna Miller and was Jude's co-star in Alfie.

I guess you can give the guy credit for publically apologizing, but wouldn't he prefer to keep his affairs (pun intentional) private? Jude must be seriously try save face for doing the kids nanny if he's making public statements. Either that or there was some ugly ass stuff going to come to light that he was trying to hit with a premptive strike. Perhaps stop the tabliod rumor mills in their tracks or something.
