Adam Sandler filled in at the last minute for an ill David Letterman. I like Sandler, but he's a crappy talk show host. Kind of hard to describe, but even with the level of suck he attained it was still somewhat funny. (Oddly that's the same way I write this blog.) The best part was the monologue which I'm sure was written for him.

I've long been baffled by the Letterman show in general. Dave's funny enough and I know he's got an offbeat sense of humor, but the show has become absolutely unwatchable. It's not funny in any way. I guess to could be attributed to a staff of horrible writers? I can't understand how it's still on the air. And Allen Kalter is about as funny as a pile of dirt. I guess Adam Sandler didn't do that bad afterall. Watch Adam's monologue here.
