A crotch shot taken of Maria Sharapova has become court evidence. New York ad executive Steve Biegel filed a lawsuit after being fired when he complained about the firms' CEO, Toyo Shigeta, allegedly passing around
upskirt crotch pictures of tennis star Maria Sharapova. The photos were supposedly taken by the CEO during a Canon camera ad shot, obviously without the knowledge of Sharapova, or her crotch.
On another business trip to Brazil in April 2004, Biegel witnessed Shigeta repeatedly taking photographs emphasizing the crotches of scantily clad women on the beach until a male companion of one of the women on the beach threatened him, the lawsuit said.
Shigeta demonstrated a similar obsession during a photo shoot for an advertisement for Canon in Key Biscayne, Fla., when he took a picture of tennis star Maria Sharapova on the tennis court and proudly distributed the "crotch shot," the lawsuit said.
Who knew
Sharapova cameltoe could be so controversial? Suprising, I really would have put my money on a Britney Spears or Paris Hilton crotch shot making into a lawsuit somehow. Is this a legal first? What's the precedent here? Illegal crotch invasion?
The lawsuit also claims of sexual humiliation, brothels and Japanese bathhouses. Who knew being an ad executive could be so crazy?
