Everyone's favorite pixie-Hero Hayden Panettiere showed off her new short haircut last night at the ESPYs Giant Event last night. I think I read rumors of Milo V. shopping for engagement rings, but I could be wrong. For his sake I hope this isn't the ring, because that crap isn't getting him any action.

Hayden Panettiere really (really) loves the whales. So much so she's put herself up for sale. You can bid on a boat ride with Hayden, to go whale watching. The winner gets cash, a celebrity studded dinner hosted by Eva Longoria, and can bring five of his drunkest best friends. Bidding is currently up to about $4000 so start saving those pennies. Hayden Panettiere helped mark World Children's Day by going to a McDonald's in Philadelphia. Man, this chicks busy, if she's not saving dolphins she's out helping kids. It's almost like, like, she's a good person. Damn, and I thought celebrities didn't have souls? (Maybe that was just Paris Hilton). Just take a look at that banner picture - if you've ever seen a woman around a cute kid with big cheeks, that's exactly the face they make.

I guess technically it's the police that want to arrest Hayden and not the entire country of Japan, but whatever. Authorities have issued a warrant for Hayden's arrest because of her involvement with a recent Save the Dolphins demonstration. Eonline reports on the showdown:

After returning to shore, the group headed directly to Osaka and left the country to avoid being arrested for trespassing by the Japanese national police.

When asked what the arrest warrant could mean, Panettiere replied, "Potentially jail, but I doubt it."

I think it's actually Japan's way of getting back at us for the excruciatingly boring Heroes plot line where Hiro goes back in time to run around and play with swords - killing an otherwise good show. So Hayden's officially on the lam. Cool. I guess the trenchcoat she's wearing in front of the Lamborghini sort of makes sense?? Here's a few more recent pictures of Hayden from a couple events. Hayden Panettiere was reluctantly spotted buying some magazines wearing workout clothes. I can imagine you need some serious time in the gym to be in good enough shape to swim after dolphin poachers in the open ocean. And we'll take sports bars over wet suits any day. Hayden's still got a little working out left to do before she gives Katie Holmes' shoulders a run for their money.

I know the whole Hayden Panettiere save the dolphin thing is a good week old, but I hadn't yet seen this video of Hayden on Access Hollywood. And it's disturbing, very disturbing. This is just not the kind of thing that should take place in today's world. The unspeakable horror and inhumanity. It's videos like this that can really change your perception of things - like killing the hotness of Hayden Panettiere. The uncontrollable sobbing and swimming around in blood in a wet suit. Where's the bikini? It's just not hot, what is she thinking? Oh, wait, hang on. My conscience just woke up from a two day bender. Yeah, dolphins, first, then Hayden. Dolphins before bikinis. Got it.

Hayden Panettiere is appearing in Genlux magazine. I'm not sure which issue, so these pictures might be old. But, damn she looks good. And remember Hayden's 18 now, so feel free to let your mind run wild. The new season of Heroes returns September 24th. Hayden seems to have gained a lot of popularity during the off season so you can bet Claire's going to be a pivotal character during this season.

If there's any shortage of celebrity bikini photos it's got to be of Hayden Panettiere. There's enough Lindsay Lohan bikini picts to last a lifetime. I say, let's move on. More Alessandra, more Hayden. She's like the cheerleader in high school you never scored, but hotter and richer and way more famous than you. And in a bikini.

Hayden Panettiere may have superpowers on the show Heroes. But nothing beats the super strength of a cute girl with her dog. The only thing cuter would be a rainbow, with a carebear and a ribbon on the dog, and let's face it - me.

This is one of those 'almosts'. While Hayden Panettiere is wearing a see through black dress, she still has the smarts to wear a bra and underwear. Which is ironic because people on the street where shouting 'Give 'em Hell Lindsay'. Hayden did the polite thing and told them not to call her that ever again. If I were as cute and wholesome as Hayden Penettiere and someone called me Lindsay Lohan I probably would have ripped off their heads and bowled them down the street.
