Johnny Depp Narrates Gonzo - Hunter S. Thompson Biopic

Monday, June 9th, 2008

I doubt this one will see wide release, but, it looks pretty interesting. Gonzo is an interesting look into the controversial Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. If you’re not familiar with Thompson, you might know his work - he wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It’s narrated by Johnny Depp.

He’s Just Not That Into You Reunites Ed’s Goodwin and Long

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Just caught this trailer for He’s Just Not That Into You in the theater this weekend. Looks like two former cast members from Ed will be reunited on screen. Ginnifer Goodwin and (mac guy) Justin Long make up an ensemble cast in this multi-storied comedy.

I’ve enjoyed watching Ginnifer in HBO’s Big Love and good to see she’ll be making it to the big screen in a starring role. The rest of the cast is full of A-Listers too - Scarlett Johannson, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connolly, Ben Affleck and Kevin Connolly.

If you like those types of movies with multiple innertwined story lines than I’ll bet you’ll dig He’s Just Not That Into You.

Get Smart Trailer

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I’ve got to admit I was a late comer to the whole Office phenomenon. I’m still working my way through the first two seasons on DVD. (Is it true it’s sucked this season?). Anyway. I have managed to become a big fan of Steve Carell and loved Get Smart as a kid (who wouldn’t want a shoe phone?). Carell seems right on for the role. Should be good. And of course Anne Hathaway can’t hurt either.

Zohan Trailer + Premiere Pictures

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

Another pretty typical Adam Sandler film, Don’t Mess with the Zohan. I’ve got say his ridiculous humor as grown on me over the years. Opens on Friday the 6th. Here’s a few red carpet snaps for the New York premiere.

Note: Excuse our headless thumbnail picts. Were still ironing out a few kinks, (cursing at the web monkeys), with some new martian-posting-technology fresh off the red planet. But click em and their heads magically appear.
